- Park Cabins & Chalets:
Parks today offer a wide range of accommodation to suit families and friends. Most parks have excellent self-contained cabins and chalets with a private bathroom and modern kitchen facilities. Great choice of self-contained villas providing full en-suite bathrooms, some with spa baths and quality fittings and furnishings. Check with the park you intend to visit to confirm they type of facilities they offer.
- Caravans:
Today’s caravans offer a huge ranger of sizes and designs to suit your needs. In addition to the normal refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and TV, you have the choice of shower and toilet, full size refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, CD/DVD/MP3 player and satellite television and air-conditioning.
- Camper Caravans:
This style caravan can be the perfect entry level starter, compact and easy to tow, comes in both on or ‘off road’, with a solid lower exterior / roof and soft upper sides, easy to set up and comes with a range of accessories include annexe. They usually include a refrigerator, microwave oven, kitchen sink, gas stove, water tank and come with plenty of storage space and sleep up to 4 people comfortably.
- Fifth Wheelers:
Fifth wheelers hitch up to a ute at a point directly over the rear axle on a turntable and are very easy to tow. You have 25% of the weight up over the back axle on a turntable, whereas with a caravan you have about 10% of the caravan’s weight on a ball out the back of the vehicle.
- Camper Trailers:
A great way to get off road and travel to those “hard to get to spots”. Offering an easy towing unit with a gas cooker, table and sink, these trailers can be put up effortlessly and expand into secure, large camps. Easy to tow and great to get away!
- Motorhomes:
Motorhomes include air-conditioning, toilet and shower. They incorporate the drive vehicle and accommodation. Ranging in size from approximately 5 metres to 13 metres in length.
- Roof Top Campers:
The roof top camper is ideal when you are heading away from home and want to add your own accommodation to you 4WD or van.
- Slide On Campers:
For those not inclined to tow, these are designed to slide-on to the back of most tray top utes and offer a great motorhome alternative with nothing to set up or pack up. It is cost effective when travelling and can be used while on the tray or stand alone.
- Tents:
Today’s tents vary from small two-person tents to large roomy models with separate bedrooms, living areas and shaded verandas. Depending on your requirements there are small lightweight tents, dome tents that are very easy to setup and touring tents which are larger and suitable for all the family. Camping is well suited to young families and those on a budget.
