Precious Plastic Margaret River

Precious Plastic Margaret River (PPMR) is a community-based not-for-profit social enterprise turning locally collected plastic lids into colourful, functional and unique products right here in the South West.

Since 2018, PPMR has been giving discarded plastic a new life by collecting, sorting and transforming material that may otherwise have ended up in landfill. Using purpose-built recycling machinery, the plastic is processed and remade into a growing range of practical and decorative products.

Every piece is individually made, with the colours and patterns created by the recycled plastic itself – meaning no two pieces are exactly the same.

Our range includes bowls, trays, combs, soap dishes, trivets, homewares, garden pieces and gifts, along with products perfect for outdoor entertaining and the travelling lifestyle.

By purchasing a PPMR product, you’re not only taking home something colourful, durable and made locally – you’re helping demonstrate that discarded plastic doesn’t have to be waste. It can be a precious resource.
