St John is a leading non-profit committed to building resilient communities. Each year, it connects with communities WA-wide,
building first aid skills through its free school and community programs, increasing access to lifesaving equipment through the
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) public program and growing the
community first responders network.  

Part of the WA community for over 130 years, St John’s commitment to the wellbeing of West Australians remains steadfast.  

Each year, St John touches the lives of more than 1.2 million people across WA, providing lifesaving ambulance and event health services, first aid training and equipment,
and patient transfer services, alongside community health care through its GP, Dental and Urgent Care Centres.

Wherever you go and wherever you are within WA, St John aims to work with communities to build resilience and access to first aid and healthcare services,
empowering each of us with the skills to save a life.

As a non-profit charitable organisation, your support through donations and purchases allows St John WA to expand its services and deliver incredible milestones for West Australians.

• Over 3,000 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are publicly accessible in WA, including in Kiwirrkurra, Australia’s most remote Indigenous community.
• More than 86,000 school children each year learn vital first aid skills through the free First Aid Focus program.
• Over 100,000 people access free first aid awareness training in the community.

St John’s essential volunteer network of more than 5,000 is given the tools and support they need to provide emergency care in their communities.
