Cruise along the roads less travelled without comprising comfort with Mobi Nomad’s latest innovative design – The Mobi Nomad Continental – an off-road, lightweight, hybrid caravan.

Full of outside-the-box design features that allow you to travel off-road with ease, Mobi Nomad’s clever design comprises an aerodynamic shape and a one-piece mono-hull fibreglass body with a steel super structure and stainless steel fittings.

With standard features and an empty tank of water, the hybrid caravan weighs just 1700kg, setting it apart from others on the market.

Despite its off-road capabilities, the stay in a Mobi Nomad is that of a hotel room on wheels.

“The Continental is chock-full of luxury amenities – from the kitchen to the bedroom,” Claude Marais said.

“The van has an ingenious slide-out room, which increases the internal living space to an impressive 12.4sqm, comparable with a 23ft competitor”

Remarkably setting up the Mobi Nomad Continental for the night is practically instantaneous, as the comfortable permanent island double bed is left untouched during the slide-out operation.

There is plenty of space and tools to cook up a meal wherever you are, as the external cooking area comes fitted with a twin-burner stove, built-in storage features, a microwave and a fold-up wash-up area with stainless steel basin.

There is also no need to run around while cooking, as the creatively designed 12V, 150L fridge/freezer makes it perfect for days at the beach. The six options for the kitchen awning and annex will suit any camping style.

The Mobi Nomad Continental also comes standard with its own range of cutlery, crockery, bedding, camping chairs and two dinette chairs, so it is always ready for your next getaway.

“Another impressive feature of The Continental is its ensuite – something usually associated with much bigger and pricier caravans. This includes an option of 5 different toilets. From the normal chemical toilet to 3 composting toilet options or  a dryflush toilet ” Josh Taylor said.

“The fully functional bathroom space is complete with a toilet, a full-length shower, hot water, a mirror, storage and a ceramic basin.”

Josh mentioned that there are also a plethora of upgrades you could make for added opulence, including a queen mattress, 12V fans, diesel heater and a TV bracket with satellite or internet dish or standard TV antenna

“You can upgrade your camper to be completely self-sufficient with solar power, Lithium and an Inverter to be comfortable all year-round, with full split-system air-conditioning, or rooftop aircon available too,” Josh said.
