The team has capability across the state and employs a number of planning professionals with experience both in government and the private sector with the knowledge of typical town planning processes, caravan park and camping legislation, bushfire requirements, engineering constraints and land tenure issues. The team also has developed working relationships and contacts across government and the private development consultant sector.

Halsall & Associates work co-jointly with Karin Kemp (Landscape Designer) to provide the Caravan Park Planning WA service (www.caravanparkplanningwa.com.au) and have achieved designs and approvals for a large number of caravan park developments and re-developments. Over 30 master plans across WA have been produced inclusive of private and government clients. Landscape design is a fundamental part of planning within parks and Karin Kemp has developed expert knowledge of design parameters for caravan, camping and chalets sites as well as detailed understanding of amenity requirements, road layouts, setbacks and numbers of facilities needed under the Regulations/Act.
