Parks are great places for adventure and connection with nature, family and friends. There are opportunities to engage with nature through camping, walking, mountain biking, paddling, fishing, birdwatching and photography and other physical and nature-appreciation activities. From the southern forests, pristine beaches and vast arid landscapes to the magnificent Kimberley, there is an experience just right for you.
The Parks and Wildlife Service works with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to manage national parks, nature reserves, marine parks, State forests and other lands and waters throughout Western Australia. This includes conserving and protecting healthy and resilient ecosystems, creating memorable visitor experiences and facilitating sustainable, nature and culture-based commercial tourism activities to engage visitors and build a generation of advocates who appreciate and care for the natural and cultural environment.
Come and visit the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attraction’s Parks and Wildlife Service stand at site 262 in the Jim Webster Pavilion to:
– pick up a copy of the new WA’s national parks booklet and
– ask about visiting national parks, park passes, camping and booking campsites
