Omega Vehicle Engineering has also developed the Desert Kit, a suspension kit that improves the ride and handling of the Toyota 300 Series Landcruiser, while simultaneously increasing the GVM to 4,000 kg and the GCM to 8,000 kg. The highest level of inspection and testing has been conducted to ensure the vehicle can handle these increased loads, including Davis Dam profile testing as is required in both WA and QLD. Our Desert Kit is federally approved and is fitted post registration.

Interested in a new Toyota 300 Series Landcruiser registered as a commercial vehicle? We also offer two pre-registration options (Second Stage Manufacturing or SSM) for the Toyota 300 Series Landcruiser – the Tanami and the Strzelecki. This involves a commercial fit out undertaken prior to picking up your new car. The Tanami and Strzlecki models give you a GVM upgrade to 4,000kg and a towing capacity of 3,500kg, with a combined payload of 3,800kg.
