Cheela Plains Station Stay is a quiet, scenic stay with full amenities ideally located on the Nanutarra-Munjina Road between the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef and Karijini National Park. It is the perfect interlude amid the outback ocean and rugged ranges in the heart of the spectacular Pilbara. Offering powered and unpowered campsites, all of which utilise shared ablutions, shower and laundry facilities, Gorge Safari Self Drive’s (4×4), contemporary country cooking and Telstra and Optus mobile coverage, just to name a few. In addition, there are Single rooms, Double rooms, a Family room and Queen ensuites available. The grounds are situated 900 metres south of the highway and are accessible by a two-wheel drive vehicle.
Team Cheela welcomes you to stop in for one or more nights to connect with the West Australian Pilbara and all the rugged landscape has to offer. Settle in for a magnificent sunset, and while in front of our campfire find the Southern Cross and witness the night sky come to life.
The Red Plains Cafe is open daily from 7:30am – 2:30pm. If you can’t stay the night, stop in and let us tempt you with a hot cup of tea or barista coffee and homemade carrot cake.
